Defining text for self identification components

Use this procedure to define text that will introduce a self identification component question. This procedure is not required. As an administrator, you can associate a self identification component with a self identification configuration even though no introductory text is defined. You cannot define more than one component text per component.

  1. Select Administration.
  2. Click the Codes tab.
  3. In the Self Identification pane, click Component.
  4. Click Create.
  5. Specify this information:
    Effective Date
    Specify the effective date for the component.
    Text For
    Select the self-identification component for the text.
    Active
    The default value of the component is active. Clear the Active check box to make the component inactive.
    Component Text
    Select the font and style, and specify the text using the formatting tools available to you.
  6. Click Save.
