Copying note templates

As an administrator, you can save a copy of a note using a new note name and then update the copy. This facilitates the efficient creation of notes that share content.

  1. Select Administration.
  2. Click the Templates tab.
  3. Click Notes.
  4. Right-click a note template and select Copy.
  5. Specify this information:
    From Note Template
    Specify the name of the template to copy.
    New Note Template
    Specify the name of the new template.
  6. Click Submit.
  7. Specify this information:
    Note Template
    Specify the name of the template.
    Note
    Specify the content of the note.

    To select variable text, right-click the line then click Variables on the menu.

    For example:

    Thank you for your interest in 
{OrganizationName}
    Category
    Select the category to which the template belongs. Categories are used to organize templates by type.
    Active
    Activate the template in the system.
  8. Click Save.
