Job application cases

You can create job application cases from these menus and page:
  • Requisitions
  • Workflows
  • Job application

You can create a job applicant case for candidates whose job application is tied to a requisition whose status is Open or Filled. These candidates are not in a disposition step.

If this option is enabled in Case Management, the associated job application case is closed when the candidate is moved to a disposition step.

See the Infor HR Talent User and Administration Library (Cloud and On-premises) and select Administrator > Case Management Administration.

Creating a job application case from a requisition

  1. Select Talent Acquisition > Requisitions.
  2. From the job list, select a requisition.
  3. To create a case for a job application from a requisition's hiring workflow step, click Workflow and the workflow step.
    To create a case for a job application of a requisition, click All.
  4. Right-click the job application and select Create Case.
  5. Select a case template.
    The case template is configured in Case Management.

  6. Click Submit.

Creating a job application case from a workflow

  1. Select Talent Acquisition > Workflows.
  2. Select a hiring workflow.
  3. Select a hiring workflow step.
  4. Right-click a candidate in the workflow step and select Create Case.
  5. Select a case template.
    The case template is configured in Case Management.

  6. Click Submit.

Creating a job application case from the quick links

You can create a job application case in the Quick Links pane of a candidate's job application.

  1. Select Talent Acquisition > Requisitions.
  2. From the job list, select a requisition.
  3. Click All.
  4. Select a job application and click Open Detail.
  5. Click Core Profile, Talent Profile, or Hiring Process.
  6. Click Create Case.
  7. Select a case template.
    The case template is configured in Case Management.

  8. Click Submit.

Viewing the job application cases

Recruiter or alternate recruiters can view the job application cases that they create for a candidate. Recruiter administrators can view all job application cases that are created in Talent Acquisition.

They can view the job application cases on these tabs:
  • Core Profile
  • Talent Profile
  • Hiring Process
  1. Select Talent Acquisition > Requisitions > .
  2. From the job list, select a requisition.
  3. Click All.
  4. Select a job application and click Open Detail.
  5. Click Core Profile, Talent Profile, or Hiring Process.
  6. In the Quick Links pane, click Cases.

Closing the job application cases

Recruiters and recruiter administrators can close the job application cases in the Quick Links pane of a candidate's job application.

  1. Select Talent Acquisition > Requisitions.
  2. From the job list, select a requisition.
  3. Click All.
  4. Select a job application and click Open Detail.
  5. Click Core Profile, Talent Profile, or Hiring Process.
  6. In the Quick Links pane, click Cases.
  7. Select a job application case.
  8. Click Close Case.
  9. Select the substatus of the job application case to close.
  10. Select the case template of the job application case to close.
  11. Optionally, specify the resolution to close the job applicant case.
    If you select a case template, the resolution for the selected case template is displayed.
  12. Click Submit.

Reopening the job application cases

Recruiters and recruiter administrators can reopen the case in the Quick Links pane of a candidate's job application.

  1. Select Talent Acquisition > Requisitions.
  2. From the job list, select a requisition.
  3. Click All.
  4. Select a job application and click Open Detail.
  5. Click Core Profile, Talent Profile, or Hiring Process.
  6. In the Quick Links pane, click Cases.
  7. Select a job applicant case.
  8. Click Reopen Case.
  9. Specify the reason to reopen the job application case.
  10. Click Submit.
