Defining a career path

As an administrator or generalist, you can use this procedure to create a career path for a job in Succession web application. A career path defines the logical order of jobs in your company.
  1. Select Maintenance > Succession Path.
  2. Select a job.
  3. In the Jobs pane, define the career path:
    1. To specify a job that precedes this job in a succession path, also known as a feeder job, right-click a job and select Attach Feeder Job.
    2. Specify information in the Effective Date and Feeder Job fields and click Submit.
    3. To specify a job that is preceded by this job in a succession path, right-click a job and Attach Job Path.
    4. Specify information in the Effective Date and Job Path fields and click Submit.
