Renewing credentials

Resources can request to renew a credential. As an administrator, you can view, renew, and cancel all credentials that any resources have requested to renew on HR Administration > Qualifications > Tools And Tasks > Qualification Requests.

You can also renew a credential on the resource's talent profile even if the resource has not requested the renewal.

To access the consolidated view of a resource's profile, you must enable the Administrators View of Employee Profile feature toggle.

See Infor HR Talent User and Administration Library (Cloud and On-premises) and select Administrator > HR Talent Setup and Administration.

A credential must be validated before it can be renewed.

  1. In HR Administration, select Resources > Resource Search.
  2. Search for a resource's record using a keyword or other options.
  3. Click the Talent tab.
  4. In the Credentials section, select a credential to renew and click Renew Credential.
    Note: If the resource has requested the renewal, a yellow flag is displayed on the resource's credentials list, next to the expiration date. You can select the Cancel Request To Renew Credential action to cancel the resource's request. When you cancel the request or renew the skill, the yellow flag is removed.
  5. Specify the effective date of the renewal and new expiration date.
  6. Click Submit.
