Reinstating resources

As an HR administrator, you can reinstate a previously terminated employee. No rehire process is needed and the previous primary work assignment is reactivated. For this action to be displayed, the employee must be terminated and the work assignment inactive.

You will be notified if more than one work assignment is found.

  1. In HR Administration, select Resources > Resource Search.
  2. Search for the resource to reinstate.
  3. Click Reinstate.
  4. Specify this information:
    Reason
    Select Reinstate.
    Relationship Status
    Select ACTIVE.
  5. Click Submit.
    This action hides any termination dates from the employee and managers. The termination is only shown in the audit log.
