Mass creation of time records from employee recurring time records

Each payroll cycle, you must run an action to create time records from recurring time records. The time records are created in a batch for verification before they are released to the current payroll cycle. One option is to create these time records by running a mass action that selects eligible employee recurring time records based on specified criteria. Use this option to process many time records together.

Certain actions can change the status of time records for employees with inactive Work Assignments if the Terminated With Pay field is marked and the Time Record Date is less than or equal to the value of Planned Final Pay Through Date.

If you run the mass action with a Time Record Date less than or equal to the employee's Planned Final Pay Through Date, a batch status time record is created.

You can use various actions to change the status of time records for employees with inactive Work Assignments when the Terminated With Pay field is marked and their Time Record Date is less than or equal to the value of Planned Final Pay Through Date:

  • Release Time Records
  • Move To Current
  • Move to Future
  • Mass Move Time Records
