Defining year-end parameters

  1. Select Payroll > Administration > Reports.
  2. In the Canada Regulatory pane, click Year End.
  3. In the Setup pane, click Year End Configurable Fields.
  4. Click Create.
  5. Specify this information.
    Country/Jurisdiction
    The default value is Canada.
    Payroll Year
    Select the reporting year.
    Legal Entity
    Select a legal entity.
    Legal Establishment
    Optionally, specify a valid legal establishment.
  6. Click Save.
  7. Select a topic to display the data items associated with that topic.
  8. Select the data item and specify the value for that data item if applicable.
    T4s and T4As share some of the same boxes, for example, income tax deducted in Box 22 and charitable donations in Box 46 (T4)/Code 046 (T4A).
  9. Click Save.
