Run the Generate PIER Audit Report to audit the employee QPP/CPP and EI contributions before issue of T4 forms or at termination of employment. Generate PIER Audit Report validates the year's contributions against the expected or calculated amount due based upon pensionable and insurable earnings and the rates in effect. Rates used are the delivered rates for the payroll year being processed in Quebec Pension Plan or Canada Pension Plan and Employment Insurance.

To view the report, as Payroll Administrator, select and then click
View PIER Audit Reports. Double-click the most recently processed record in the Canada PIER Audit Report list.
To view the list of employees with their details, select the employer header record in the Employer Headers list.
A list of employees is generated in two separate panels namely, the With Balance Due and Without Balance Due. Employees with balance due which is not equal to zero is listed in the With Balance Due list, while those without balance due are listed in the Without Balance Due.
