Processing T4 and T4A slips

Multiple slips are created in any of these scenarios:

  • If an employee has wages in multiple Provinces.
  • If an employee has more than six Other Information codes on the T4.
  • If an employee has more than 12 Other Information codes on the T4A.
  • If an employee has wages in more than one Payroll Account Number.
Note: If an Employee is paid in different Legal Establishments but with the same Payroll Account Number, the wages and deductions accumulated under the different Legal Establishments are combined and reported under the same Payroll Account Number.
