Creating activities

  1. From HR Administration, select Administration > Setup.
  2. In the Chart Of Account pane, click Activities.
  3. Click Create.
  4. Optionally, select the activity and click Create Within to create another activity for an existing activity.
  5. Specify this information:
    Enterprise Group
    Select the enterprise group for which you are defining the activity.
    Activity
    Specify a unique identifier for the activity. It may be that this should correspond to an activity in Infor HR Management.
    Description
    Specify a description for the activity.
    Parent Activity
    If this activity has a parent activity, select the parent activity.
    Activity Group
    Select the activity group to which the activity belongs.
    Begin Date / End Date
    Select the activity’s begin and end dates. The date range must be within the activity group’s date range.
    Billable Flag
    Select Yes if the activity is billable. You can recognize revenue against a billable activity.
    Posting Flag
    Select the posting type for this activity.
    Company / GL Account
    Select the General Ledger company, accounting unit to default in transactions for this activity. You can also select the account and subaccount.
    Currency
    Select a currency code to identify the activity’s base currency. For posting activities, you can use any currency code. For summary activities and contract activities, the currency code must match the base currency code that is assigned to the activity group. The default is the activity group’s base currency.
  6. Click Save.
