Updating qualification configuration

After you enable the automatic synchronization of the essential status for main qualifications, you cannot change the status of equivalent qualifications.

You can create a credential non-compliance report for all qualifications and equivalent qualifications for a job or position.

  1. Select Qualifications.
  2. Click the Components tab.
  3. In the Primary pane, click Configuration.
  4. Select an organization and click Open.
  5. To include credential in hire and rehire actions, select Include Credential in Hire And Rehire Actions.
  6. To include grace period in hire and rehire actions, select Include Grace Period in Hire And Rehire Actions.
  7. To enable configure managers to validate records. For example, resource experience, select Include Validate Action.
  8. To enable configure managers to specify the date of validation that is different from the default date, select Allow Validated Date Entry.
  9. In the Employee Credentials section, specify this information:
    Source Defaulting
    Select the default source of the employee credentials.
    To select a default source and override the employee credentials, select Default With Override. To select a default source and not override the employee credentials, select Default No Override. If there is no default source for the employee credentials, then select No Default.
    Credential Source Updates
    Select this check box to add the updates on the source of the employee's credentials.
  10. To prevent duplicate or concurrent employee experience records, select Prevent Concurrent Experience.
  11. To enable automatic synchronization of the essential status for qualifications with equivalent qualifications, select the Synchronize essential with equivalents check box.
  12. Click Save.
