Activating position plans

You can only activate one position plan for a given period. If an active plan exists for the position plan period range, you must inactivate it or revert it to the Preliminary status.

  1. Select HR Administration > Jobs and Positions > Position Monitoring > Position Budgets.
  2. Select a position plan.
  3. Click the Budgets tab.
  4. Select the position plan and click Activate.
  5. Click OK when the Confirmation Required window is displayed.

    You can view active position plans by selecting Position Budget Manager > Reports > Budget Variance and view the initial counts.

    When a plan is active, position plan rules are enforced for the plan dates.
