Customer updates
The customer updates are automatically deployed for every release. Through customer updates, you can evaluate predefined data conditions for each post-upgrade action. You can run actions to update data that is used for a new feature or to correct out-of-sync data conditions.
After correcting customer update errors, you can run customer updates manually.
You can run customer updates to all organizations.
You can view customer update results and errors from a replication set separately.
Configuring email notifications for customer updates
Administrators can receive email notifications for each upgrade action that runs during a customer update. They can configure email notifications for the first time or update existing email notifications for customer updates.
Reviewing customer updates as a system administrator
After you run the customer update in the system, you must review the processed actions and verify errors.
Checking for customer update errors as an administrator
- Loading the delivered content
- Transferring the data from the delivered content business class to another business class
An Infor representative monitors the async queue for MT customers. Other customers must have administrator access to monitor the async queue.
If the content is not loaded into the DeliveredContent business class, clear the errors in the HCM Customer Updates Default queue on the Queue page.
If the content is loaded into the DeliveredContent business class but is not transferred to another business class, run the customer update again.
If any of the customer update errors are displayed, contact Infor Customer Portal for assistance.
If delivered content fails, you cannot use the content or the feature.
Running customer updates manually
After you upgrade the system to a new release, customer updates run automatically.
