Moving managers within the structure

You can move a manager under another manager. All of the resources that are assigned to the moved manager are also moved.
  1. Select Administration > Setup.
  2. In the Structure pane, click Managers.
  3. In the Managers section, select the manager to move.
  4. Click the More Actions button and select Move Under Different Manager.
  5. Select an effective date and the new manager under which to move this manager. The move does not occur until the specified effective date.
  6. Select the Update Manager Role Work Assignments check box to update the work assignments for the moved manager.
  7. Click Submit.
