Health component recommendation

The health component recommendation enhancement in HR Talent provides an AI-driven capability in the Health and Safety module. This capability analyzes free-text workplace incident descriptions and recommends the appropriate Occupational Health Component.

Manual classification relies on individual judgment and can result in inconsistencies, increased administrative effort, and delays in identifying safety trends. This enhancement standardizes incident categorization to improve the consistency and quality of safety data.

The enhancement also improves the efficiency of incident triage.

The health component recommendation capability uses trained models that are built from historical incident data. Incident descriptions are paired with corresponding health components to train the models. The models process and transform text by using techniques such as TF-IDF vectorization and classification algorithms.

When a new incident is reported, the model processes the description and evaluates it against predefined categories. The model returns the most relevant health components as recommendations.

This capability improves consistency across reporters, supports faster decision making, and reduces reliance on manual review. The capability also improves reporting and analytics by ensuring that incident data is categorized in a consistent and structured way.

The feature integrates HR Talent with Infor OS services, such as Data Lake, and the Infor Artificial Intelligence platform. These integrations support model training, prediction, and continuous improvement by using updated organizational data.
