Adding qualifications to equivalency groups

Administrators can add qualifications to equivalency groups. They can specify a minimum rating that is required by the candidate and a target rating.
  1. Select Qualifications.
  2. Click the Components tab.
  3. In the Groups pane, click Equivalency Groups.
  4. Select an equivalency group.
  5. From the Qualifications list, click Create.
  6. Specify this information:
    Effective Date
    Specify the date that the qualification can be activated.
    Type
    Select the type of qualification.
    Qualification
    Select one or more qualifications to add to the equivalency group.
    Essential Rating Level
    Specify a target rating for the qualification.
    Desired Rating Level
    Specify a minimum rating that the candidate must have for the qualification.
    Essential
    Select this check box to enable the essential status for all qualifications and equivalent qualifications in the equivalent group.
    After you add qualifications to an equivalency group, the essential status for the equivalent qualifications is displayed in the Qualifications list.
    When you enable automatic synchronization of essential status for qualifications, the essential status of an equivalent qualification is set to match the essential status of the qualification.

    Active
    Select this check box to activate the qualification.
  7. Click Save.
