Adding pay elements to resources

Prerequisites to adding pay elements:
  • Pay Element is enabled on the Organization's Configurable Features tab
  • There are existing and active pay elements
Note: Pay elements included in the calculation of gratuity must have a pay rate type of Monthly. Pay element is calculated based on the specified pay rate type.

Resource pay elements should be the same pay elements as on the Gratuity pay code. Only the same pay elements are included in the calculation for KSA gratuity.

AE and QA do not include pay elements as part of the calculation of gratuity pay.

To access the consolidated view of a resource's profile, you must enable the Administrators View of Employee Profile feature toggle.

  1. Select Resources > Resource Search.
  2. Search and open a resource.
  3. Click the Pay tab.
  4. In the Payroll pane, click Pay Elements.
  5. Click Create.
  6. Select the appropriate pay element.
  7. Optionally, update the details.
  8. Click Save.
