Deleting job categories

You cannot delete a job category that is attached to a job, but you can inactivate it. If you delete a job category that is associated with job subcategories, the subcategories are also deleted.

  1. Select Jobs And Positions.
  2. Click the Components tab.
  3. In the Jobs pane, click Categories.
  4. Highlight the job categories to delete, and click Delete.
  5. On the confirmation form, click Yes. When prompted, specify an effective date.
