Copying responsibilities, qualifications, and working conditions to another job

If you define a new job for which the detail information is substantially different from any existing jobs, but the qualifications and working conditions are similar to those of an existing job, you can copy only the job qualifications and working conditions from an existing job to your new job. You can also use this option to copy specific components to multiple jobs.

For example, if you added a TRAVEL working condition to a job with a category of SALES and all sales jobs should have this working condition, you can copy working conditions to all of the jobs that are associated with the SALES category.

Note: This action does not overwrite existing components in the target job. It adds components that do not exist in the target job.

Compensation analysts can copy jobs in Compensation.

See the Infor HR Talent User and Administration Library (Cloud and On-premises) and select User > Compensation > Salary structures > Copying job qualifications and working conditions to another job.

  1. Select Jobs And Positions > Jobs.
  2. Right-click the job to copy and select Copy Job Qualifications And Working Conditions.
  3. Specify the effective date.
    The effective date is required.
  4. Specify this information:
    Copy To Job
    To copy to a single job, select the job.
    Copy To Jobs In Job Family
    To copy to all of the jobs belonging to a specific family, select the job family.
    Copy To Jobs In Job Category
    To copy to all of the jobs belonging to a specific job category, select the job category.
    And Sub Category
    To copy to all of the jobs belonging to a specific job subcategory, select the job subcategory.
  5. Specify this information:
    Select All
    Select this check box to select all items to copy to the new job.
    Deselect All
    Select this check box to deselect all items to copy to the new job.
    This check box is displayed when you select Select All.
    Responsibility Groups Including Details
    Select this check box to copy the responsibility groups that are attached to the source job.
    Responsibilities Not Associated To A group
    Select this check box to copy the stand-alone responsibilities that are attached to the source job.
    Competency Models Including Details
    Select this check box to copy the competency models that are attached to the source job.
    Competencies Not Associated To A Model
    Select this check box to copy the stand-alone competencies that are attached to the source job.
    Skills Not Associated To A Model
    Select this check box to copy the stand-alone skills that are attached to the source job.
    Credentials
    Select this check box to copy the credentials that are attached to the source job.
    Education
    Select this check box to copy the education items that are attached to the source job.
    Experience
    Select this check box to copy experience records that are attached to the source job.
    Working Conditions
    Select this check box to copy the working conditions that are attached to the source job.
  6. Click Submit.
