This feature is available only if your organization uses the Absence Management application. You require permission to sell time off.
- Select Time and Attendance.
- Click the Balances and Requests tab.
- In the Plans pane, find the plan that has a request to sell time off option.
- Click Request Sell Time Off.
- In the Request To Sell Time Off pane, this information is displayed:
- Available For Request: Shows your time off balance. It includes your available balance minus any pending and approved time off requests.
- Available To Sell: Shows the number of hours or days that you can sell from your plan. This number is based on the number of hours or days available for request. It updates as sell time off requests are approved.
- Default Payout: Optionally, you may have a default number of hours or days that are paid out by your plan. If your plan has a default payout, you can only have one sell request per request period.
Note: Balances are only shown during designated request periods where you are eligible to sell time off.

Specify the number of days or hours to sell. Make sure the days or hours you specify do not exceed the maximum you’re allowed to sell.

Optionally, specify additional information about your request.

Optionally, attach a document to support your request.
- Click Submit.
