Planning for the future

When you identify a position that fits your goals, you can create a career plan for it. You can view your career plans and work toward becoming qualified for each position. If you are pursuing multiple career plans, select one from the list to open and manage it.
  1. Select Career Opportunities > Career Planning.
  2. Click the Plan Your Future button.
  3. From the list of career plans, select a position and click View Plan to launch the plan.
    Click the Remove Plan button to remove the plan if you are no longer interested.
  4. On the Overview tab, you can view your career plan and how you match to the position.
  5. On the Competencies and Skills tabs, information about areas where you are lacking is displayed, along with recommendations to help you address gaps.
    If you have a learning and development activity tied to the competency, click Suggested Learning Activities on the Competency tab. This opens the Activity experience, where you can enroll in the activity to help you achieve the competency.
