Working with check-ins
- Select Performance.
- Click the Engagement tab.
- In the Check-ins pane, click Create Check-In.
- On the Details tab, specify this information:
- Title
- Specify the title of the check-in.
- Type
- Select Casual or Performance.
- Date
- Specify the date of the check-in.
- Start Time
- Specify the start time of the check-in.
- End Time
- Specify the end time of the check-in.
- Click Next.
- On the Agenda Items tab, you can specify this information:
- Learning To Do

This field is available if you enabled Learning tasks in the Employee Check-In Set Up.
Click Add Learning To Do to add learning tasks such as activity, development plan, checklist, and certification to the check-in.
Click View Learning To Do to open the record and view learning to do details.
Click Delete to remove the learning tasks from the check-in agenda items.
- Goals

This field is available if you selected Goals in the Employee Check-In Set Up.
Click Add Existing Goal to add your goals to the check-in.
Click View Goal to open the record and view goal details.
Click Delete to remove the goal from the check-in agenda items.
- Accomplishments

This field is available if you selected Accomplishments in the Employee Check-In Set Up.
Click Add New Accomplishment or Add Existing Accomplishment to add your accomplishments to the check-in.
Click Update to edit the accomplishment details.
Click Delete to remove the accomplishment from the check-in agenda items.
- Raves Received

This field is available if you selected Raves Received in the Employee Check-In Set Up.
Click Add Rave Received to add your raves received to the check-in.Note: Raves Received that are not yet added to the CheckāIn are available.Click Delete to remove the rave received from the check-in agenda items.Note: You can delete only the raves that you added. You cannot delete raves added by the manager.
- Challenges

This field is available if you selected Challenges in the Employee Check-In Set Up.
Click Add New Challenge or Add Existing Challenge to add your challenges to the check-in.
Click Resolve to approve the challenges linked to the check-in.
Click Update to edit the challenges details.
Click Delete to remove the challenges from the check-in agenda items.
- Tasks

This field is available if you selected Tasks in the Employee Check-In Set Up.
Click Add New Task or Add Existing Task to add your tasks to the check-in.
Click Complete to confirm the tasks linked to the check-in.
Click Update to edit the task details.
Click Delete to remove the tasks from the check-in agenda items.
Note: Employees cannot delete goals, accomplishments, challenges, or tasks that were added by the manager. - Click Submit.
After submitting the check-in, the status changes to Upcoming on the Check-ins > Open tab. If the Create Event On Calendar is enabled in the Employee Check-In Setup, a calendar invite is sent to you and your manager.
- To view all your check-ins, click View More.
Open a check-in record to view the date when it was recorded and what your manager wrote.
Alternatively, if the feature toggle is enabled, click the arrow icon on the Check-In widget, select a Check-in, and then click View Check-In.
In preparation for your one-on-one meeting, your manager might have created entries in these areas:- Accomplishments: Lists your top contributions and accomplishments since the last check-in meeting. For example, deploying a new system or landing a new customer.
- Raves Received: Lists your raves received.
- Open Challenges: Lists challenges that might be impacting your performance. For example, not enough communication on a cross-departmental project or difficulty scoping a project.
- Open Tasks: Lists projects and assignments that are in progress. For example, an upcoming customer presentation with a goal to expand relationships.
- Open Goals: Lists your current goals.
Click Add Existing Goal to link an employee goal.
Click View Goal to open the record and view goal details.
Click Delete to remove a goal from the check-in.
Note: You can delete only the goals you added. Goals added by your manager cannot be deleted. - Open Learning To Do: Lists learning tasks to the check-in such as certification, activities.
Click Add Learning To Do to link learning tasks to the check-in, including activities, development plans, checklists, and certifications.
Click View Learning To Do to open the record and view learning to do details.
Click Delete to remove the learning tasks from the check-in.Note: You can delete only the learning tasks you added. Tasks added by your manager cannot be deleted.
If the feature toggle is enabled, you can add agenda items and answer pulse questions.
To add agenda items, select Agenda Items, and click Add for accomplishments, raves, challenges, tasks, goals, and learning to do.
To answer pulse questions, click Pulse Questions, select answers from the available choices, and then click Save.
Questions with a Response Type of Rating Scale are displayed with the correct rating levels based on the rating scale setup for the question.
Questions with a Response Type of List are displayed with the available options based on the appraisal list value setup for the question.
- If the field has been enabled by your organization, you can view your check-in score. To view, select Check-in Score.
Contents of this field depend on the scoring system that your organization adopted.
- Optionally, click Acknowledge to signify that you read the check-in.
