Employee contract statuses
These statuses are available for employee contracts:

| Draft |
The contract is being drafted. Employee contracts are generally automatically placed in Draft status when they are created. An employee contract is not visible to the employee while the contract is in Draft status. Contract administrators can change the status to allow employees to view the contract. When creating an employee contract manually, administrators can select a different status during creation. |
| Ready for Review | The contract is ready for the employee to review. An employee contract with a Ready for Review status is visible to the employee. |
| Contract Sent | The contract has been sent to the employee for review. An employee contract with a Contract Sent status is visible to the employee. |
| In Progress | The contract is being reviewed by the employee. Negotiations may be taking place. An employee contract with an In Progress status is visible to the employee. |
| Pay Enabled |
Employees have not accepted the contract, but they can still be paid by the organization. To begin payment before the employee has formally accepted the contract, select the employee contract record and then select . The contract status is changed to Pay Enabled and contract pay details are created. The status of a Pay Enabled employee contract can be changed to Accepted without affecting contract pay details. If employee contract consolidation is enabled, the Enable Pay option is available only for employee contract records that are marked NONE or MAIN. When pay is enabled on the MAIN employee contract record, pay is also enabled on all associated active SUPPORTING records. |
| Accepted | The employee has accepted the terms of the contract. If contract pay is enabled on the employment contract, contract pay details are created when the employee contract status is changed to Accepted. |
| Rejected | The employee has rejected the terms of the contract. |
| Ended | The contract has ended due to termination, promotion, or transfer from the associated position. |
