Employment contract statuses
These statuses are available for employment contracts:
| Status | Description |
|---|---|
| Draft | The contract is being drafted. Employment contracts are automatically placed in the Draft status upon creation. |
| In Negotiation | Contract negotiations have begun. |
| Pending Approval | The employment contract has been submitted to the negotiating parties for approval. |
| Approved | The employment contract has been approved by the negotiating parties. When the status of an employment contract is changed to Approved, all previous versions of the contract are inactivated.
Note: Employment contracts that are in Approved status can still be modified using an addendum or amendment.

| Canceled | The employment contract has been withdrawn and canceled. Employment contracts in Approved status can only be changed to Canceled if no employee contracts are attached to them. Canceling the employment contract automatically inactivates it. |
