Verifying BOD configuration for Absence Management

The integration with the Absence Management data from Infor HR Talent to the Global Financial Controller (GFC) is performed using the Source System Journal Entry (SSJE) BOD.

Note: When the GeneralLedger_ProcessSourceSystemJournalEntry is enabled, the Infor Process Automation for the Legacy BOD for SSJE is automatically disabled. Standard BODs and Legacy BODs for SSJE are mutually exclusive processes.

Follow these configuration steps to enable the SSJE BOD.

  1. Review the configuration for Absence Management.
  2. From System Administration, select Integrations > Business Object Documents.
  3. In the Primary pane, click Setup.
  4. Click the Outbound tab.
  5. Click Filter.
  6. Specify GeneralLedger_ProcessSourceSystemJournalEntry in the Name column.
  7. Press Enter.
  8. Select GeneralLedger_ProcessSourceSystemJournalEntry and click Open.
  9. On the Details tab, switch onActive.
  10. Click Save.
  11. To create general ledger export records, navigate to Absence Management > Processing > Cycle Processing > Update General Ledger.
    This process generates:
    • Records in General Ledger Export
    • A BOD from the records added
    Note: On the date and time that the change was specified for transactions that are future dated, two export records and two corresponding BODs are generated.
