Disabling SoHo 4 UX for specific web applications

To disable SoHo 4 UX for specific web applications in Infor HR Talent, remove the configuration parameter.

  1. Sign in as administrator and select Administration Console > Configuration Parameters.
  2. Click the All Parameters Keys tab.
  3. Specify uiharness in the Key column.
  4. When you locate the uiharness record, change the value from xifull to xiharness and click Save.
    The new application menu is displayed but the default user interface will be set to SoHo 3.5 UX.
  5. To override the default SoHo 3.x UX for certain applications, such as Benefits and Recruiter, log into Infor Rich Client as a user with configuration access.
  6. Select Start > Configure > Application.
  7. Add a new Configured Web Application.
  8. Select the application and change the default UI by changing the value in Show Using to SoHo Xi.
  9. Save the configuration.
  10. To re-enable the SoHo 4 UX user interface, add back the uiharness config component to the Configuration Parameters.
