Customizing a configurable UI file

These procedures are options to customize your job boards. For more complex work, you should secure the services of a professional web page designer.C

Customization of the configurable UI is available for existing Talent Acquisition users.

The configurable UI files are delivered as ZIP files that replicate the directory structure of the source home page. The zip files are available to download from KB1967973 on the Infor Customer Portal.

  1. Download the delivered ZIP file for the home page to be configured from the ZIP files from the Infor Customer Portal.
    • Welcome.zip is the configurable UI file for the classic Candidate Space.
    • CandidateSpace.zip is the configurable UI file for the new Candidate Space.

      In CandidateSpace.zip, candidatespace.html has been renamed welcome.html but both files are identical.

  2. Extract the file to a folder, preserving the directory structure.
    If you do not preserve the directory structure while you extract the files or re-zip them, then the file you create will be unusable.
  3. Make your changes in the folder and re-zip the folder. Use a different name to preserve the integrity of the original file.

    You can perform the same customization on a configurable UI file as you can on the source files. You are working in the same file structure. The difference is that your customized ZIP files take effect immediately. They do not change the source database and you can attach them or detach them to job boards at any time.

  4. To use the file, attach it to a job board in Talent Acquisition > Administration > Primary > Job Boards.
