Defining automatic notification rules for approaching activity renewal

Ensure that the notification template is added to the system as delivered content.

Learning administrators can use this notification to notify employees that they are required to complete an activity that is approaching renewal.

  1. Select Administration > Primary.
  2. In the Notification pane, click Default Rules.
  3. Click Create then select Create Automatic Notification for Enrollments.
  4. Specify this information:
    Effective Date

    Specify the date that the rule is first available for use.

    Notification Rule

    Specify the name of this rule.

    Description

    Specify the description of the notification rule. If you leave this field blank, then the notification rule name is used.

    Active

    The notification rule is inactive by default. To activate the notification rule, select this option.

    Send Notification When

    Select Activity Approaching Renewal.

    Template

    Optionally, select a template.

    Save Correspondence

    By default, each notification creates a copy of the email in Learning and Development > Notifications And Correspondence > Correspondence. If you do not want this notification rule to retain correspondence records, then select No.

  5. Click Submit.
