Updating notification rules

Note: The updates apply only to notifications triggered on or after the effective date of the updates.
  1. Select Administration > Primary.
  2. In the Notification pane, click Default Rules.
  3. Open the notification rule to update.
  4. Specify this information:
    Effective Date

    Required. Specify the effective date of the update.

    Notification Rule

    You can change the description, not the rule name.

    Template

    Optionally, attach the notification to a different notification template.

    Save Correspondence

    Select Yes to save the emails that are issued each time a notification is triggered under Learning and Development > Notifications And Correspondence > Correspondence. Select No if you do not want to save the emails.

  5. To attach documents, click New on the Attachments tab. See Attaching documents to notification rules.
  6. Click Save.
