Use attendance absence reasons to describe why a session participant did not attend a class.
- Select .
- Click the Component Prerequisites tab.
- In the Activity pane, click Absence Reasons.
- Click Create.
- Specify this information:

Absence Reason

Specify the name of the absence reason.

Description

Specify the absence reason's description. If left blank, the absence reason name defaults.

Active
-
Select this check box to make the absence reason active. Inactive absence reasons are not displayed in lists.
- Click Save.
