Defining activity types

Use this procedure to define the types of activities used by your organization.

  1. Select Administration.
  2. Click the Component Prerequisites tab.
  3. In the Types pane, click Activity.
  4. Click Create.
  5. Specify this information:
    Type

    Required. Specify the name of the activity type.

    Title
    Specify the activity title.
    Description

    Specify the description of the activity type. If left blank, the type name defaults.

    Active

    Select this check box to make the activity type active. Inactive activity types are not displayed in lists.

  6. Click Save.
