Creating Secure Act eligibility report

  1. Select Maintenance > Processes > Secure Act > Proposed Eligibility.
  2. Click Create Report.
  3. Select a benefit group.
  4. In the Determine Eligibility section, specify this information:
    Determine Eligibility
    Select the check box to determine the eligibility of the benefit group.

    To qualify for the over age limit, a resource must be eligible. To qualify for the wage limit, a resource must also be over the age limit.

    FTE Threshold
    Specify the full-time equivalent threshold.
    The hours eligible calculation is used for employees who do not meet the FTE threshold required. Employees who meet the FTE threshold are tagged as secure act eligible.
    Pay Class
    Select the pay class associated with the identified hours to determine the hours completed.
    Hours Minimum Per Year
    Specify the required minimum hours per annum.
    This field applies to periods 1, 2, and 3 Lookback Date ranges if populated.
    Start Period 1 (Most Recent Period)
    Specify the start period for each of the years you count back.
    You must also specify the Start Period 2 and Start Period 3.
    End Period 1
    Specify the end period for each of the years you count back.
    You must also specify the End Period 2 and End Period 3.
  5. In the Determine Over Wage Limit section, specify this information:
    Wage Limit
    Provide the wage limit of the resource group.
    Wage Source
    Select the source of the wage to determine the over wage limit.
    There are various sources of wage to determine the over wage limit:
    • Compensation History: This report stores the plans where the employee is already eligible.
    • Hours Worked: Pay classes are used to identify the groups of employees to track and pay hours worked. Hours are tracked in Pay Summary Groups attached to Pay Classes.
    • HRT Payroll Taxable Wage History: This deduction code is used to return the taxable wage history for employees.
    • Wage History Taxable Wages: For customers not using Infor Payroll, this is used for deduction history import using Federal Deduction Taxable Wages.
    • Wage History Wage Amount: Use this to pull reports found from the Wage History.
    • Other Amount 1: Use this to pull reports from the specified other amount 1.
    • Other Amount 2: Use this to pull reports from the specified other amount 2.
    • Other Amount 3: Use this to pull reports from the specified other amount 3.
    • Other Amount 4: Use this to pull reports from the specified other amount 4.
    • Other Amount 5: Use this to pull reports from the specified other amount 5.

    To qualify for the wage limit, a resource must be both eligible and catch up eligible.

    Year
    Specify the year to cover to calculate the wage limit.
    Deduction Code
    Specify a code that represents the deduction.
  6. In the Determine Catch Up Eligible section, specify this information:
    Determine Catch Up Eligible
    Select the check box to identify the catch up eligible resources.
    Age As Of Year
    Provide the year as of the date to calculate from.

    To qualify for Catch Up Eligible, a resource must be eligible.

  7. Click Submit.

    The error icon indicates that the Secure Act eligibility for the employee is different from the eligibility that is currently on their profile.
