Configuring a default recruiter

You must assign a default recruiter when the Recruiter field is hidden from hiring managers. The default recruiter populates the Recruiter field on the Create Requisition form in Manager and Talent Acquisition WebApp.

  1. Select Administration > Primary.
  2. In the Recruiters section, select a recruiter record.
  3. Select the Use as default check box.

    When the security entity is enabled and there is an assigned security entity, select Use as default for security entity.

  4. Click Save.

    When Security Entity is disabled, you can assign only one active recruiter as the default recruiter.

    When Security Entity is enabled:
    • You can assign one active default recruiter for each security entity.
    • The first secured recruiter becomes the default recruiter for the associated security entity.
    • The first non-secured recruiter becomes the global default recruiter.
    • If a security entity does not have a default recruiter, the global default recruiter populates the Recruiter field.
    Note: You must update the default recruiter when the assigned recruiter becomes inactive, resigns, or is terminated. Requisition creation errors occur when a valid default recruiter is not assigned.
