Creating and maintaining interview evaluation forms

Administrators can create and customize evaluation forms by adding sections, creating questions, and setting automated reminders for interviewers assigned to the evaluation form.

Creating interview evaluation forms

  1. Select Administration.
  2. Click the Recruiting Setup tab.
  3. Specify this information:
    Effective Date
    Specify the date when this interview evaluation form becomes available for use.
    Interview Evaluation Form
    Specify a name for the interview evaluation form.
    Description
    Provide a short description for the purpose of the interview evaluation form.
    Interview Type
    Select the interview type.
    Active
    Select this check box to make evaluation form active.
  4. Click Save.
  5. To create a new evaluation form an existing form, select a form, right-click and then select Copy Template. Specify the interview evaluation form to copy and the name of the new interview evaluation form, then click Submit.
  6. To view the form as it will display to an interviewer, click Preview Form.

Adding sections to the interview evaluation form

You can create sections to group questions together on the evaluation form.
  1. In the Interview Evaluation list, open the interview evaluation form.
  2. On the Sections tab, click Create.
  3. Specify this information:
    Interview Evaluation Section
    Specify a name for the evaluation form section.
    Description
    Provide a short description for the section.
    Display Oder
    Specify the order in which this section is displayed on the evaluation form. Lower numbers are displayed first.
    Active
    Select this check box to make the section available on the evaluation form.
    Include Comments & Notes
    Select this check box to allow interviewers to add comments and notes for this section.
  4. Click Save.

Creating questions for the interview evaluation form

You can create questions within sections manually, or add questions through helper list either using a question set or directly from the question catalog.
  1. On the Sections tab, open an Interview Evaluation Section.
  2. In the Interview Evaluation Questions section, to create manually, click Create.
  3. Specify this information:
    Question
    Specify the question.
    Active
    Select this check box to make the question available on the evaluation form.
    Display Order
    Specify the order in which this question is displayed in the section. Lower numbers are displayed first.
    Response type
    Select the type of response that interviewers can provide for this question.
    Response Required
    Select this check box to require a response.
  4. Click Save.
  5. To add questions using a question set or directly from the question catalog, click the Helper List, and select Add questions from question set or Add questions from catalog.
  6. Select the question sets to add and click Add Question Sets To Interview Evaluation Form.
  7. Select the catalog questions to add and Attach Catalog Questions To Interview Evaluation Form.
  8. You can view the questions on the Questions tab.

Setting up reminders for the interview evaluation form

You can set up automated reminders for assigned interviewers, including reminders on or after the interview date and overdue reminders for incomplete evaluations.
  1. In the Interview Evaluation list, open the interview evaluation form.
  2. Click the Reminders tab.
  3. In the On The Day Interview Reminders section, select the Send Reminder On Day Of Interview check box to send a reminder to assigned interviewers on the day of the interview and select the notification template to use for the reminder.
  4. In the Days After Interview Reminders section, specify the notification templates and the number of days after the interview to send the first, second, and third post-interview reminders.
  5. In the Overdue Interview Reminders section, specify the notification template for the overdue reminder and the number of days after the interview to send an overdue reminder if the evaluation form is not completed.
  6. Click Save.
