Updating configuration parameters

When you enable third-party finance system posting, these configuration parameters are automatically created:
  • HCM_SourceSystemJournalEntry_LineNumberRecord:
    • The maximum number of journal entry lines per SSJE BOD.
    • The default value is 1000.
  • HCM_SourceSystemJournalEntry_GenericDelimiter:
    • The delimiter used to separate the RunGroup and file sequence number in the Journal ID.
    • The default value is @@.
    Note: For M3 integration, change the delimiter value to underscore ( _ ). The BOD file sequence number is no longer included in the Journal ID and is instead sent in the Variation ID of the SSJE journal header.

To update the values:

  1. Select Administration Console > Configuration Parameters.
  2. Search for the configuration parameter.
  3. Double-click the configuration parameter.
  4. Update the values.
  5. Click Save.
