Verifying the loaded payroll delivered content for year end

Before your organization can create W-2s and 1099-Rs, the year-end delivered content must be loaded. The loaded year-end delivered content contains the Year End US Federal W-2, W-2C, EFW2C, Territory W-2, Territory, State EFW2 and 1099-R File Creation Setup files. These files are used to generate the W-2 and 1099-R output files.

You must sign in as an Integration Architect to view year-end delivered content.

  1. Select System Administration.
  2. Select Integrations.
  3. Click the File Creation Utility tab.
  4. In the Primary pane, click Dashboard.
  5. Verify that each of these delivered content files are available by searching for them using the Description field:
    • YearEnd US Federal W2
    • YearEnd US Federal EFW2
    • YearEnd US Federal W2C
    • YearEnd US Federal EFW2C
    • YearEnd US State EFW2 (USPS State Abbreviation)
    • YearEnd US Territory W2 PR
    • YearEnd US Territory EFW2 PR
    • YearEnd US Territory EFW2 GU
    • YearEnd US Territory W2 GU
    • YearEnd US Territory W2 OS-3710 MP
    • YearEnd US Territory W2CM MP
    • YearEnd US Territory W2 OS-3710 MP
    • YearEnd US Territory W2 MP
  6. If the delivered content is not loaded, Payroll Administrators must load the year-end delivered content.
    1. Select Payroll.
    2. Select Administration.
    3. Click the Utilities tab.
    4. Click Payroll Delivered Content.
    5. Click Check for Payroll Content.
    6. If the year-end record status is Available for Update, click Load.
