Setting primary work assignments

The first work assignment assigned to a resource is always the primary assignment. When a resource has multiple assignments, it can only have one primary assignment. The primary assignment is the work assignment that has priority when a resource has multiple work assignments.
  1. Select Resources > Resource Search.
  2. Search and open a resource.
  3. In the Work Assignments pane, select a work assignment to make primary.
  4. Right-click the work assignment and select Set As Primary Work Assignment.
    The work assignment you select must be active.
  5. Specify an effective date, and click Submit.
