Using the session calendar

Before you use the sessions calendar, run the Post Upgrade Action. Running the Post Upgrade Action optimizes the calendar performance for efficient filtering.

Learning administrators and instructors can use the session calendar to manage sessions from their created activities and sessions that are assigned to them.

Learning administrators and instructors can view the calendar by month, week, or day, and they can view the sessions from previous months and later months. The sessions are displayed from the earliest session up to the last class.

Details on the filters depend on the selected month on the calendar.

  1. Select Catalog.
  2. Click the Session Calendar tab.
  3. Manage the sessions:
    1. Select a date on the calendar with a scheduled session to view its details in the details section on the right side of the page.
    2. To view the detailed information of the session, expand the session in the details section. The header color of the session corresponds to the status color.
    3. To view the session's activity details, click the activity name on the details section of the session.
    4. To view other details about the session, click the session on the calendar.
    5. To view the sessions based on the registration capacity, filter the status. Each availability status is represented by these colors:
      • Azure = Available
      • Ruby = Full
      • Amber = Waitlist
    6. To view the sessions based on the location site, specific instructors, and class type, filter the calendar by selecting the details on the filters.
    7. In the Upcoming section, you can view sessions scheduled from the present date through the next 14 days. In this section, you can see these details of the session:
      • Date
      • Status
      • Description
      • Registration Status
      • Duration
  4. To view the sessions to a list view, click the Sessions List button.
    You can search for sessions by specifying search terms, and you can filter the list by status and capacity.
  5. To export the list, select More Actions > Export To, then select PDF or CSV.
