Understanding Transition Management activity synchronization

Learning activities that are assigned through Transition Management are linked to Transition Management learning activity tasks. Changes to the status of a linked learning activity or task are synchronized automatically. This synchronization applies to candidate and resource activities.

When the status of a linked learning activity changes:
  • Approved updates the Transition Management task status to Assigned.
  • Finalize updates the Transition Management task status to Complete.
  • Waived updates the Transition Management task status to Cancelled.

If synchronization updates the task status to Complete or Cancelled, the associated transition program status is updated accordingly.

When the status of a linked Transition Management task changes:
  • Assigned updates the learning activity status to Approved.
  • Waiting on Dependency updates the learning activity status to Approved.
  • Complete updates the learning activity status to Complete.
  • Cancelled updates the learning activity status to Cancelled.

If you reopen a completed Transition Management learning activity task, the linked learning activity remains Complete.
