Scheduling automatic report reloading or refreshing

Service center users who have access to the administration console can schedule periodic reloading or refreshing of analytics.

Reload: Data should be reloaded when there have been changes to the cube logic.
Refresh: Data should be refreshed when you wish to generate the latest data.

Select Analytics > Reload and Refresh Cubes.
Right-click a single report and select Reload or Refresh.
Specify this information:

Schedule Action Name

This is the action that you are scheduling.

Notification Type

Specify the type of notification that is sent each time the action is run.

Email Address (Optional)

Specify the email address of the notification recipient.

Schedule Type

Specify the frequency with which the action is run.

First Time To Run

Specify the date that the action is initially run.

Last Time To Run

Specify the date that the action is run for the last time.

Schedule Exclusion

Optionally specify a date or range of dates within the first and last time to run that the action is not run. For example, you can specify that a daily action is not run on the 25th of each month.

Schedule Exclusion Set

Optionally specify multiple exclusions. You can specify that all or any members of the set must be valid to trigger an exclusion.

Strategy

Specify the procedure if the action fails: Do Nothing, Run Once and Run All Processes Scheduled.

Report Options

Specify the report that is sent when the action fails.

Number Of Retries

Specify the maximum number of times the action should be run again after initial failure.

Continue On Failure To Run

Select this option to continue the action even if errors are present.
