Defining a career path

Use this procedure to create a career path for a job in Succession Management. A career path defines the logical order of jobs in your company.

  1. Sign in as Administrator or Generalist.
  2. Select Succession > Job Career Path.
  3. Select a job.
  4. Define the career path:
    1. To specify a job that precedes this job in a career path, also known as a feeder job, select Actions > Attach Feeder Job.
    2. Select the feeder job and click OK.
    3. To specify a job that is preceded by this job in a career path, select Actions > Attach Job Path.
    4. Select the appropriate job path and click OK.
