Activating an appraisal form

You can use the Activate Appraisal Form action to restore a previously deactivated form. The form is available for appraisal creation and returns its associated appraisals to their original statuses prior to cancellation.

You can inactivate appraisal forms to prevent further use.

See Inactivating an appraisal form.

  1. Select Appraisals.
  2. In the Appraisal Maintenance section, select Components.
  3. In the Appraisal Forms section, select the appraisal form with Active set to No.
  4. Click More Actions, and select Activate Appraisal Form.
  5. When prompted, click OK.

The appraisal form is activated. Its Active field changes to Yes, and the warning message is removed.

If you click the All tab, all appraisals associated with the activated form return to their original statuses prior to being Canceled.

The form shows in the selection list when you create new appraisals.

Note: You can only use active appraisal forms to create new appraisals. Deactivated forms are hidden from all selection lists for appraisal creation.
