Making appraisals available

If you have generated appraisals in Preliminary status, perform this procedure to make the appraisals available to employees and managers.

  1. Select Administrator > Performance > Appraisal Creation > Make Appraisals Available.
  2. Specify this information:
    Appraisal Form
    Select the appraisal form for which to make the preliminary appraisals available.
    Employment ID
    Optionally, to make appraisals available only for a range of employees or a single employee, specify the beginning and end employment IDs.

    If you leave these fields blank, all preliminary appraisals for the appraisal form are made available to the appropriate employees and managers. The appraisals are changed to Draft status.

  3. Click OK.
    • The appraisals are available to managers and, if applicable, to employees.
      Note: If input rules exist for the manager, the manager cannot update the appraisal outside the specified input period.
    • If notifications are enabled, the employees and managers are notified that the appraisal is available.
    • If other raters are enabled, an action request to select other raters is sent to managers or employees. The request is sent to the manager's inbasket if form appraisal rules enable only the manager to select other raters. The request is sent to the employee's inbasket if managers and employees can select other raters.
