To assign a mentor to a direct or indirect report:
- Select Manager > Develop Employees > Mentors.
           
or Select My Staff > My Staff > View Full Profile > Mentors tab.
 - Select the employee, then click Assign Mentor.
 - Specify this information:
           
- Mentor
 - 
              
Select the mentor.
Only designated mentors show on the select list.
 - Primary Mentor For Mentee
 - 
              
Select this checkbox if you want this mentor to be the primary mentor.
There can be only one primary mentor for a mentee. If the mentee already has a primary mentor, selecting this checkbox will make the new mentor the primary mentor. If the mentee does not yet have a mentor, the first mentor that you define for the mentee is the primary mentor.
 
 - Click OK.
           
The mentor is displayed on the employee's Mentors panel.
