Creating general ledger companies

  1. Select Administrator > Set Up > Prerequisites > Chart of Accounts > General Ledger Companies.
  2. Click Create, and specify this information:
    Company
    Select the enterprise company for which you are defining a general ledger company.
    Chart Name
    Select the chart of accounts that is associated with this company. The chart of accounts contains the detail accounts that are available for use by the company.
    Currency Table
    Select the currency table that is used by this company. A currency table defines the relationship between the company currency and the base currency.
    Currency Code
    Select the currency code for the currency that is used by this company.
    Number of Periods
    Specify the number of periods in the company's fiscal year.
    Fiscal Year
    Specify the company's current fiscal year.
  3. Click Save.
