Requesting external rater feedback

You can use the External Rater Feedback feature to collect performance input from individuals outside the organization. It allows administrators and managers to set up, enter, and submit external rater details, ensuring their feedback is accurately captured in the appraisal process.

  1. Select Inbasket.
  2. In the Work Items section, click Request External Rater Feedback.

    The Request External Rater Feedback check box is displayed if the appraisal form setup allows external raters.

    You can proceed entering the external rater information of those who can provide a feedback on your performance during an appraisal period.

    Note: On the Approval Tracking tab, it shows that the request is routed to the employee first then the external raters.
  3. In the Request External Rater Feedback form, specify this information:
    Email Address
    Provide the external rater’s email address where the notification will be sent.
    First Name
    Provide the first name of the external rater who is the owner of the email address.
    Last Name
    Provide the last name of the external rater who is the owner of the email address.
    Note: External rater information must be accurate to ensure the appraisal is accessible to the assigned external rater for providing feedback.
  4. In the Add more external raters section, specify this information:
    Email Address
    Provide the external rater’s email address where the notification will be sent.
    First Name
    Provide the first name of the external rater who is the owner of the email address.
    Last Name
    Provide the last name of the external rater who is the owner of the email address.

    You can enter up to 100 external users.

    A new row is displayed after the last available row is filled with an email address, first name, and last name. You can continue adding external raters who can provide feedback on your performance.

  5. Click Submit.
