Configuring equity planning by tier

You can use this feature only if the Consolidated Webapp menu structure is enabled. See your system administrator to determine if the Consolidated Webapp feature toggle is activated.

  1. Select Administration.
  2. Click the Setup tab.
  3. On the Compensation Planning pane, click Configurations.
  4. Specify this information:
    Budget Analysis
    Select Dynamic Totals or On Demand Report.
    • Dynamic totals are calculated dynamically, in real time.
    • On demand reports are manually run to create records with amounts and totals.
    Enable Equity Planning By Tier
    Select this check box to group employees that are equity-eligible. Equity planning refers to the employee tier on the salary planning rule based on the salary structure. For example, a grade in a step and grade structure can have multiple tiers, or levels of salary, before reaching the next grade.
    Attach Tier To Salary Structure
    Select this check box to attach the equity planning tier to the salary structure. This option is available if you have selected the Enable Equity Planning By Tier check box.
  5. Click Save.
