Updating work assignment rates with new step and grade version rates

When you create a new version of a step and grade schedule, the new rates are not updated automatically on work assignments that are associated with a step and grade schedule. Follow these steps to update the work assignment rates.

Select Compensation > Set Up > Step and Grade Schedules > Step and Grade Schedules.
Select the step and grade schedule to update work assignments with.
Select Actions > Update Work Assignment Pay Rates.
Optionally, select a reason code.
Click OK to run the action immediately, or click Schedule to run the action at a later date or on a regular schedule. For example, nightly.
Work assignments marked as exceptions will not be updated by this action. These administrative actions are also restricted for exception work assignments:

- Move Work Assignments Up One Step
- Update Work Assignment Pay Rates
