Enabling lump sum on step move

You can enable the Lump Sum On Step Move action by configuring the setting in the Organization Configuration menu as administrators and compensation analysts.

Select Administration > Setup.
On the Primary pane, select Organization Configuration.
In the Step And Grade Schedules section, select Enable Lump Sum On Step Move.

Note: The Enable Lump Sum on Step Move option stays enabled at the organization configuration level if the Allow Lump Sum On Step Move check box is used in any rate progression rule.
